Name and password

Postby garrydb » Thu Oct 09, 2014 8:24 pm

Hello all, I just downloaded Parsix 7. burned it to USB, don't work. Burned it to DVD, works but requires name and password, of which I have neither. This is supposed to be a "Live" Distro My question is, why put out an unusable Distro.. I really wanted to try this one out, now I'm not so sure.. any suggestions?

What did you use to burn it to a usb if you used Unebootin it will not work as Debian ISOs are hybrid use the parsix usb installer,http://forums.parsix.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&p=7608#p7608 as for passwords I think its parsix .
Parsix running AMD FX(tm)-6100 Six-Core Processor, Gigabyte mother board 8gb ram, Nvidia graphic card 1gb unboard ram, Plextor PX760, EPSON R300, 2x 500gb hds, sata+3x 500gb, 1x2tb Hardrives, 23" AOC monitor 1980X1080 Resolution

Thanks much Mandog. that password got me into the live system, but then I spent about an hour trying to get the hard drive formatted for it and it kept erring, so I have decided it's not going to work for me.. So thanks bunches and Goobye All.
