Changing the login sound

Postby kalakak » Mon Sep 13, 2010 5:24 pm

Can anyone tell me where the startup.wav files located? Or how to change the default login sound? I'm looking and will post if I figure out how. Thanks.

it should be in /usr/share/sounds get some sounds from http://gnome-look.org/index.php?xconten ... 5832b024c0 Some work quite well some don't work at all. using root file browser you place them in the above folder and unpack them close file browser. click on sound icon click on volume control click on sound theme choose theme from drop down menu.
