Hi all
Question:
Why when i try to boot with parsix when my External Hard is connected it stocks on the first page and I need to plug off my Hard and reboot to solve it?
My Extenal hard model is: Western Digital Passport Essential SE 1TB

OK, if you don't need the external hard drive to be bootable, remove the bootable flag from it. You can do this using gparted or cfdisk.

This might be your external hard. I have a seagate, and when it's pluged in, the machine even does not get turn on!

On the other system that runs Ubuntu 11.10 it works fine.
I got the problem, there was a problem of my internal hard drive and its IDE socket that get the operating system stock on the first screen.
