virtualbox wont recognize my pci card?

virtualbox wont recognize my pci card?

hey anybody know of a way to get my wmp54gs card to show up in the virtualbox settings?
wlan0 shows up attachted to host interface but under adapter type i'm not seeing anything that looks like my card

Actually, you can not use you installed hardware inside a VM. Virtual machines have their own virtual hardware. You can only determine how many NIC interfaces could be enabled by default on a certain VM.

odd thing,
-ran the setup cd for card
-internet works
-ip same as parsix (host)
-doesn't connect when host is disconnected
-isn't recognized by netstumbler
is this normal?

my network adapter one setting is......
Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop (NAT)

Actually VM's ip should be different from host, because VirtualBox actually acts like a DHCP server for the guest machine.
