Installing Parsix on VMware 3.1.1

Postby P05TMAN » Sun Sep 26, 2010 4:42 pm

I just downloaded Parsix as an iso on my flash and tried to install it as a virtual machine on my PC to familiarize myself with the OS before committing to changing over. The progblem is that when I install, it gives the option to install Parsix regularly, text mode, etc. When I select any option, VMware pops up a message about the guest operating system restarting the CPU and to either reset or power off the virtual machine. Is ther a way to boot and run Parsix or is my computer too weak to handle it? I'm using an old Toshiba Satellite L25-S1217 with 1.5Gb of RAM. I pretty sure it is only a single core processor. Any suggestions are welcome

I downloaded the i386 version and it runs well with my VMware. I guessed I could've used my brain and realized that I was trying to install a 64 bit system on my ancient Toshiba. Oops.
