Dual Boot with two OS's on separate disks.

Postby IntelEMT64 » Sat Nov 24, 2012 5:00 pm

Hello:

I have two disk drives SDA and SDB.
SDA = 74GB Maxtor(SCSI)
SDB = 146GB IBM(SCSI)

My BIOS points to SDA as the first hard disk for booting.

I have installed OS#1 on SDA and now want to install Parsix(Gloria) on SDB.
SDA= OS#1
SDB has three separate partitions ( Root/ = 42GB, Home = 100GB, Swap = 4GB )

How would I install Parsix and be able to dual boot this system?

Assistance appreciated.

Thank You

GRUB should automatically detect the OS on your first hard drive. If you installed Pasrix and dont see your OS#1, you can run update-grub command manually to add it to the GRUB menu.
